Grand Theft Auto V (aka GTA 5 or GTA V) is the fifteenth Grand Theft Auto game in the Action/Sandbox genre. For the first time in the history of the series, the game features three main characters at once, between which you can switch at almost any time. The player is given full freedom of action – he can travel around the city and its environs, rob passers-by, steal cars – or live a simple life of an ordinary person. Each character has unique features – one can slow down the time, while driving the car, the second can slow down the time during the shootings, and the third one can become a crazy berserker, increasing the damage inflicted to enemies.
Los Santos is the city of sunshine, starlets, and retired stars. Once the envy of the Western world, it is now the home of trashy reality shows, suffocating in the grip of economic problems. At the center of the whole mess is a trio of completely different criminals, desperately trying to catch their luck by the tail in a never-ending struggle for a place in the sun. Franklin, a former member of a street gang, is trying to put an end to the past. Retired bank robber Michael discovers that things are not as rosy as imagined in an honest life. Violent psycho Trevor wanders from one business to another in the hope of striking a big score. Having exhausted their options, these three put their own lives on the line and commit a series of daring robberies, in which it’s make or break.
The player’s main goal is to rob the U.S. Federal Warehouse, taking more than two hundred million with them. On the way to that goal, friends will face many obstacles that will lead to one of three endings – something never before seen in any part of the series.
Grand Theft Auto V not only has the most enormous and detailed world ever created by Rockstar Games, but also the ability to influence the lives and actions of the three main characters. This intertwining of several characters’ stories will make the game as exciting and engaging as possible.
